Check the account before gathering documents.

Requirements depend on the accepting company and your circumstances. Use this preparation checklist, then confirm the exact list on the broker’s official application route.

Six things to confirm before applying

This checklist stays on this page. It does not send information or assess eligibility.

Submit identity and financial documents only through the verified broker channel. This site does not collect them.

What we have established for these profiles

Capital.com

The UAE fee page lists a minimum deposit of AED 80 or USD/EUR/GBP 20. The MENA help centre accepts a valid passport photo or both sides of an ID card as identity evidence. Confirm additional address, residency and funding documents for your application; the complete individual requirement remains UNKNOWN. A funding minimum is not a recommended trading budget.

Approval is the broker’s decision.

Having a document or meeting a published minimum does not guarantee eligibility. Do not confuse a funding threshold with a suitable amount to risk.

Common document categories

A firm may request identity, address, residence or tax information and evidence about source of funds. This is a general checklist, not a promise that a particular passport or Emirates ID is sufficient.

Confirm the current rules

Ask which document formats are accepted, how recent address evidence must be, whether translations are needed and how joint or corporate accounts differ. A completed upload does not guarantee approval.

Use a verified secure channel

Check the domain and legal entity before sharing documents. This site is an educational publisher and does not process applications, store identity documents or pass them to brokers.

Prepare an application without sending unnecessary documents

Begin with the firm’s own current checklist. Record what it requests, the purpose given, accepted format and secure destination. Identity, residence and source-of-funds questions are not interchangeable; the request depends on the company, applicant and account.

If a broker requests proof of address, ask whether your available document is accepted before repeatedly uploading alternatives. Keep an inventory of what was sent and when, without storing passwords alongside it. Confirm the destination domain and account company first. Never send Emirates ID or bank statements through a comparison-site calculator.
