Publisher, affiliate, lead generator or introducing broker?

Content publisher

This edition supplies factual research and educational tools without account applications or broker commissions. That operating description does not itself establish a regulatory exemption. Recommendations, inducements, compensation and the actual audience must be assessed.

Affiliate publisher

A tracked link paid per click, account or funded customer adds a commercial incentive. Disclosure is necessary for transparency, but does not by itself establish permission to promote a financial service. Review the broker, entity, offer, audience and approval arrangements before activation.

Lead generator

Collecting contact details and passing them to a broker adds personal-data processing and may constitute a financial introduction or promotion. Establish the lawful basis, named recipients, retention, security and applicable permissions before enabling a form. No lead collection is enabled here.

Introducing broker

An agreement to introduce customers, provide onboarding assistance or earn trading-volume remuneration must be assessed on its substance. A marketing trade licence should not be assumed to cover regulated introduction, arranging or advice. No introducing-broker service is active.

Official material reviewed

The regulator’s May 2025 finfluencer announcement describes a broad scope covering recommendations and financial content across media, including blogs. Its application to this operator and exact output requires qualified review. DFSA GEN 3.4.1 sets conditions for financial promotions in or from DIFC. Do not assume a permission or exemption applies without assessing the actual activity and audience.

Separate media and privacy questions

The Media Council advertiser guide includes an exemption for an individual promoting their own business through their personal account. That does not establish an exemption for promoting third-party brokers. Applicable media activity licensing, the operating company’s location and data-protection regime remain questions to resolve.

What is pending

The publisher and editorial reviewer are identified on the About page. Confirm the licence issuer, emirate, permitted activities and public contact. Obtain a written review of the exact site, disclosures, planned compensation and lead flow under the current applicable rules. The federal law was located through the official legislation search index, but a direct fetch was blocked; full-text article review remains outstanding.
