Look for a specific syllabus
A useful beginner syllabus explains instruments, margin, costs, order mechanics, risk and evidence checking. Ask for sample lessons, instructor experience, assessment methods and the full price including software or subscriptions.
Check incentives
Find out whether the teacher receives broker referral fees, sells signals or requires a particular account. Broker-funded education can still be useful, but the commercial relationship should be explicit.
No guaranteed outcome
Testimonials and screenshots do not establish repeatable returns or typical student results. Course completion is not a licence to give investment advice or evidence that a student should trade.
