An account advertised as swap-free may exclude some metals or charge administration fees after a grace period. Ask whether the fee is per lot, per ounce or per position and whether long and short trades differ.
Turn terms into a dated schedule
Record the opening day, time zone, grace rule, chargeable dates and any retrospective fee. Use ounces per lot from the contract specification. Our simplified calculator assumes fees start after the grace period; it cannot represent every schedule.
Separate cost from certification
