EUR/USD Position Size Calculator in AED
Explore the arithmetic of a risk budget. This calculator does not assess whether you should trade.

How the calculation works
Risk AED = balance × risk percentage. Raw lots = (risk AED ÷ AED/USD) ÷ (stop pips × USD 10). Round down to the chosen lot step. EUR/USD only; 100,000 EUR contract. Excludes fees, gaps and slippage. Stop orders do not guarantee the exit price or cap your actual loss. Margin availability is a separate constraint.

Why rounding changes the answer
For AED 1,000, a 1% risk budget is AED 10. At 3.6725 AED/USD and a 20-pip stop, the raw EUR/USD size is approximately 0.0136 lots. A 0.01-lot increment rounds down to 0.01 lots, modelling AED 7.345 of price movement before fees. This does not cap actual loss or confirm enough margin.
