Write down the AED debited, bank or card fees, USD or other currency credited and the reference rate at the same time. If the exchange quote already includes a markup, do not add it twice in the calculator.
Local payment does not prove local custody
A UAE bank transfer can be a payment collection route. Check the beneficiary, account agreement and client-money policy before inferring where money remains after settlement.
A published funding example
Equiti’s UAE funding page advertises several payment methods and published broker charges. Bank and intermediary charges can still apply. Confirm the method, currency and current account eligibility before treating a published zero broker fee as free funding.
