AED Funding and Currency Conversion Cost Calculator
Compare the amount sent with the estimated USD received. Defaults are a hypothetical bank-transfer scenario.

How the calculation works
USD received = (AED sent − fixed fee) ÷ [quoted AED/USD × (1 + markup/100)]. Cost versus reference = AED sent − received USD × reference rate. Enter zero markup when the quote already includes it. Excludes intermediary and receiving fees unless included in the fixed fee. A negative result means a quote more favourable than the reference, not a guaranteed saving.

An AED 1,000 transfer example
With an AED 25 fixed fee, a quote of 3.6725 AED/USD and a separate 1% markup, the model receives approximately USD 262.86. Compared with the same reference rate, the friction is AED 34.65. If the bank quote already includes its markup, enter zero additional markup.
From AED deposit to AED withdrawal
A small spread can hide larger transfer costs. Follow one hypothetical balance through funding, ten trades and withdrawal, with every cost shown separately.
